It all started with Jeremy Clarkson's sudden need for some tranquility. After years of driving powerful machines in the urban jungle, he craved a taste of rural life. Naturally, Richard Hammond and James May instantly jumped on board. So they threw some things in the back and embarked on a journey to the heart of England's green fields.

They found an old manor that needed a some serious work.
